Ritual
A set of symbolic gestures performed before, during, or after a tarot reading to create sacred space and focus.
Rituals may include lighting a candle, shuffling in a specific way, breathing exercises, or a closing gesture.
Their purpose is psychological: they signal to the mind that ordinary time is paused and reflective time begins.
