Individuation

Jungian process of psychological integration in which the ego reconciles with the unconscious — mirrored in the Fool's journey.

Individuation is the path toward wholeness: integrating shadow, anima/animus, and Self into a unified personality.

The 22 major arcana can be read as stages of this process — from unconscious unity (The Fool) to conscious integration (The World).
