Synchronicity
A meaningful coincidence between an inner event and an outer sign, without any apparent direct causal link.
Tarot is often read in the light of synchronicity: the spread seems to respond to an inner moment of the subject not by mechanical causality, but by meaningful correspondence.
This notion makes it possible to understand how a reading can seem accurate without being thought of as pure prediction.
