The set of signs, forms, colors, gestures, and figures that give the arcana their depth of meaning.
Tarot symbolism is reduced neither to aesthetics nor to ornament. It forms a complex visual language articulating images, numbers, relationships, and structures of experience.
To read symbolism is to recognize in an image more than a décor: a logic of meaning.
