Guidance

An orientation or clarification offered by a reading, without removing the subject's freedom of decision.

The word guidance is often used vaguely. In a rigorous approach, it refers to symbolic illumination rather than an order or an absolute truth.

Good guidance helps one better understand a situation without locking the person into dependency on the spread.
